After a thorough restoration, Frederik's oldest restaurant, Allégade 10, reopened in the spring of 2009. The centuries-old premises have been renovated in bright colors, but the old-style retained. The front of the restaurant is opened for outdoor servings. Allégade 10 also has several banquet rooms and a beautiful courtyard, which is suitable for small and large private parties and corporate events.
The lunch menu features traditional Danish dishes and homemade sandwiches without too many frills. Brunch is served every day between 11am and 2pm. The evening menu is traditional Danish and the most popular dish is roast roast beef, served whole at the table, where you are allowed to cut it too. In addition, you will find dishes such as roast pork with parsley sauce, fried plaice and other great traditional dishes. The restaurant is open every day almost all year round, even during holidays such as Morten´s Eve and Christmas Eve serving real homemade food. The only day the restaurant is closed is on January 1st.
The courtyard behind the restaurant can be used with prior agreement. Here you can find pool and football tables, dart, boccia and various board games. It is also possible to stay overnight on the first floor, which has a Bed & Breakfast with shower in the hallway for an extremely reasonable price.
