For several decades De Fire Årstider has been one of Copenhagen's few bars, where the night did not dictate the closing time. The bar would be open and serving all night and morning. But in 2014, De Fire Årstider was transformed into a cafe and bar - and in 2016 the place became the third place operating within the Co-Ma concept. Co-Ma is a contraction of ‘cocktails’ and ‘food’ (‘mad’ in Danish).

With a location on the corner of Halmtorvet and Gasværksvej - and with the Meatpacking District as its’ neighbor – De Fire Årstider is a cozy place where to relieve your thirst and/or hunger. During the weekend you can enjoy the breakfast or the season's brunch from 10 AM, while the café in the weekdays (Tuesday-Friday) only serves from 11.30 AM.

The evening menu is made up of few, but wide-ranging dishes, so there will always be something for most palates. The menu has a number of small dishes that suit the cafe atmosphere. You can choose between the classic Ceasar Salad or the French Chevre Chaud with goat cheese and walnuts. Likewise there is a small number of larger and heavier dishes, so you won’t leave the café hungry.

If your final destination is the Meatpacking District and its’ hip and trendy bars and clubs, De Fire Årstider is an ideal place to go beforehand. You’ll be able to enjoy a wide selection of beers and wines, but as this is a place where cocktails do have a special place, do give them a try – they should be worth it.

The transition to a modern cafe and bar situated around the lively Halmtorvet area has benefitted most people – now, whether you are looking for a cozy breakfast place or a fair priced restaurant De Fire Årstider is a good option.
