Det Elektriske Hjørne is one of the older cafés in the heart of Copenhagen a stone's throw from the main shopping street Stroget. The beautiful facade of mahogany is original Seifert, which is a very old shop located next door, which make uniforms and hats. The bar was designed by architect Finn Juhl in 1947 and was originally D'Angleterre's old bar.
The café has for several years been a place to hang out before a long night out in the city. The cozy atmosphere is very inviting so it is a great place to enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner indoors or on good days outdoors at the tables overlooking the vibrant life in the heart of Copenhagen.
Det Elektriske Hjørne serves classic café dishes like sandwiches, salads, nachos, soups, chili con carne, pasta and lasagne. There is also a small selection of sweets. Among beverages you can enjoy cold beer, fine wines, and of course a number of soft drinks and coffee / tea etc.
