Good Morning Vietnam is in Abel Cathrines Gade opposite Cofoco. The restaurant is named after the famous American movie of the same name, in which Robin Williams plays a radio host in the U.S. Armed Services radio station during the Vietnam War. The food is - as the name implies - Vietnamese, fresh, well cooked and tasty, and the prices are quite affordable. One can easily eat two people on Good Morning Vietnam for a few hundred DKK. On the menu you will find summer rolls with peanut sauce with either tiger shrimp, pork or vegetables. Among the main courses are delicious crispy pancakes, rice noodles cooked in different ways with either shrimp, vegetables or meat, roast - baked - or grilled king prawns, soups and salad. On the beverage menu fresh juices, bottled beers and a small selection of wine, also at very affordable prices.
