Traditional Indian food meets Nordic design at Rasoi, which is located between the two metro stations Bella Center and Ørestad. The restaurant is housed in the basement of Bjarke Ingels' award winning 'VM-Bjerget' house in a cool, Nordic style with natural materials such as leather and wood, but also with colorful Indian-inspired details.
The restaurant benefits from a great location along the pedestrian promenade along the canal. The restaurant has a sunny terrace where meals can be enjoyed overlooking the water. Restaurant is open daily for dinner and is open for lunch on weekdays between 11:00 and 15:00. The food is classic Indian, and offers both dishes from the North and South.
There's an eye for detail, and the dishes are colorful and intense in flavor. Some dishes are spicy, of course, but there are also mild dishes for those who do not like their food too spicy. Everything is made from scratch by Indian chefs who know their craft to the fingertips. Rasoi has its own tandoori oven, which is used to bake delicious, crispy naan bread drizzled with garlic butter and coriander.
It is possible to start dinner with a variety of fresh cocktails, including mojito, dark 'n' stormy or the signature drink Rasoi No. 1 with Beluga vodka, fresh blackberries, ginger, lime and ginger beer. Cocktails are terrific companions with the spicy food, but you can also choose from a moderately priced wine list with a good selection of grapes from all over the world.
You also have the opportunity to enjoy Rasois food at home. Rasoi offers take-away every day from 17-21. Should you have a party or company, there are opportunities both at Rasoi and in your own home. Call the restaurant for more information.
