Vesterbro Wine bar is a little oasis, located on Istedgade. The place is owned by Nikolaj Tikøb, which also owns the sister restaurant Ravnsborg Wine Bar and Café Bopa in Copenhagen. The kitchen has focused on a French / Spanish cuisine with a number of Nordic ingredients such as venison and dried meat.
The kitchen is open from 6 pm- 10pm and you can choose between 12-14 different dishes where all the dishes cost 90 DKK. You can also get the entire menus of 3-4 dishes. If you are hungry out of the kitchen hours, you can order a charcuterie plate, a board with good cheese or salty snacks. The desserts are cheesecake and panna cotta and also cost 90 DKK.
The wine bar is designed by Tine Helleshøj. There is a fine, intimate atmosphere at the bar with the old material used for the interior, for example the counter, which is made of old panels, doors and toilet cuts from the neighbors in Vesterbro. The floor is made of some 400 linoleum plates that are cut out by hand and assembled directly on the floor - and in the corner the delicate, shimmering mosaic deer, who watches over all the guests.
In the wine bar there is seperate banquet facilities. The places is extremely suited from everything for private parties to a wedding.
